Pick-up and delivery driver Declan Burke has just clocked up a quarter of a century of service with business-to-business express delivery company TNT.
Mr Burke, who works at the company’s depot based at Wellingborough, recently received due recognition from the company at a long service awards ceremony.
He received an engraved gold watch, a bottle of champagne and a gold pen from Alistair Cochrane, managing director of TNT Express Services UK & Ireland, at a special dinner to celebrate the achievement.
Reflecting on the changes of the past 25 years, Mr Cochrane said he was proud of the company’s ability to retain top calibre people. He also praised the endeavours of the long-serving employees.
