Visitors to Rockingham Castle are promised a spectacular show when the Vikings of Middle England return this month.
The re-enactment group will be at the castle on Sunday, August 24, and Monday, August 25.
As well as action-packed battles, there will also be an encampment where visitors can step back in time to the Dark Ages.
Castle owner James Saunders Watson said: “The Vikings are without doubt one of the most popular attractions in the castle calendar. Not only do they provide great battlefield action, they tell a fascinating story and recreate life in times past in the most fascinating detail.”
The action will start at midday on both days and the castle will open at 1pm, with the last entry at 4.30pm.
