Hot dogs took centre stage at the weekend’s Game and Country Show.
The two-day family fun event at the East of England Showground, Peterborough, boasted a highly entertaining range of country leisure pursuits, and featured arena events such as jousting displays and spectacular flying owls.
There was a canine focus right through the show, with activities including an agility course, lurcher racing, flyball competitions, dog shows, gundog scurries, an aquatic long-jump style event called Dock Dogs and bowlfuls more!
Game and country attractions included firing ranges, clay shoots, game meat preparation, country apparel shopping, ferreting displays, coursing demonstrations and many gun dog activities.
Our former chief photographer Glyn Dobbs spent a day at the show.
