A Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-style hunt for golden tickets will be part of a Playday event taking place at Wicksteed Park on Wednesday, February 19.
The free event will feature assault courses, games and a bouncy castle among other entertainment.
Every child attending on the day will be given an envelope and if theirs has a golden ticket inside they will get a guided tour of the park and will be able to give their thoughts and ideas about how to improve the park in the future.
Wicksteed Park managing director Alasdair McNee said: “The park has a wonderful heritage and history, which is rightly celebrated, but we are now looking to the younger generation to help us plan the future.
“There is one place open on our board for the child with the best ideas to have a key role in what we do in the future.”
