A charity which organises riding sessions for disabled children has received a £1,000 boost.
The cash was presented to Kettering and District Riding for the Disabled Association by Andre Stairmand, branch manager of Santander, High Street, Kettering.
Along with 10 colleagues, he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro last year and raised £55,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Every penny the group raised the bank matched, as well as giving Mr Stairmand, 25, a cheque for £1,000 to give to a charity of his choice. He said: “I picked Kettering Riding for the Disabled because they do such good work and deserve it.”
