The National Trust at Stowe is looking for helpers over the August Bank Holiday to volunteer in the estate’s gardens.
Lyn Jopling, visitor experience manger at Stowe, said: “We’re looking for people who can help to welcome our visitors, hand out maps of the gardens, record numbers and help with car parking.
“Even if you’ve never done anything like this before, don’t worry. We’re expecting the weekend to be great fun and we will give you all of the training and advice you need beforehand.”
Support would be helpful for any amount of time from half a day through to the whole weekend. To find out more, visit Stowe on Sunday, August 19 to talk to staff and find out about the Bank Holiday weekend.
Free vouchers for visits to the garden on another day will be on offer to volunteers.
