Penrith Drive Children’s Centre in Wellingborough has held an open day for visitors.
Parents and children enjoyed activities, including face painting, a tombola and a teddy bear hunt at the event on Saturday.
The centre, which is run by children’s charity Action for Children in partnership with Northamptonshire County Council, organised the open day to encourage more families with children under the age of five years to register with the centre and to tell parents more about the range of services available.
Centre manager Matthew Beams said: “We had a good turn-out.
“We hope that the people in the families that attended got something from it.
“We had face painting, play activities, craft activities and our sensory room was open.”
