PEOPLE are being invited to come along for a cup of tea or coffee at a charity coffee morning which is being hosted by Chelsea’s Angels this weekend.

The fundraising event will take place tomorrow at the College Street Day Centre in Irthlingborough.

It will run from 10am until 3pm.

There will be tea, coffee, a cake stall and a tombola, and admission is free.

Chelsea’s Angels was founded in honour of three-year-old Chelsea Knighton from Irthlingborough who died in 2009 from acute neuroblastoma.

The charity raises funds to help children and the families of children diagnosed with neuroblastoma and other rare cancers.

Emma Knighton from Chelsea’s Angels said: “We are going to have a cake stall, a tombola, a book stall and a colouring competition for the children.

“I hope it will bring the locals in because it would be great to have their support.

“There will be lots going on so it should be a good day.”
