Raunds to turn red, white and blue to celebrate the Queen's 90th
Raunds Town Council is organising a celebration for Her Majesty’s birthday at Bassfords Recreation Ground from 3pm to 6pm on Saturday, June 11.
It follows a great turn-out for the lighting of the beacon for the monarch’s birthday on April 21 and it is hoped that this event will build on that success, giving people in Raunds the chance to show their appreciation for the Queen in an informal setting.

“We have such fantastic community spirit here in Raunds, we just know the event is bound to be a success.”
Everyone is welcome to go along to Bassfords Recreation Ground with a picnic to enjoy the fun, with plenty of live acts performing throughout the afternoon including local bands and family entertainers.
Tables can be pre-booked by contacting the town council office on 01933 622087 or emailing [email protected], but people can bring their own picnic blanket if they prefer.
